I,m not able to ride just yet But I can tell you that the road between Hathersage and Grindleford is closed until 20th June. Then it ,ll be puncture hell until all the new chippings have settled in. I,ve got to have some x-rays on 3rd June and then I,ll find out if I can start some turbo training........that sounds boring for lots of you but for me that will be such a relief,I,m already swimming(with a pull buoy),doing some gym work so I,m partly on the way to some sort of fitness.......but I have put on 6 kilos( fat b*****d) did I hear you say? So.if I can ride on the turbo,the next big step will be actually riding on the road,now that is going to be scary......but a few weeks off. So if you see me on my MTB between Hathersage and Castleton......stay well clear! Thanks for all the good wishes from lots of people.....they help. The repairs don't seem to be too extensive (at the moment anyway) - they're just replacing patches of bad surface. So hopefully no chippings and no punctures. Incidentally, I hear Clarkie has got the all clear to start riding again - watch out! Edit this Post
