early season tt dates

Hi guys, just a couple of dates for your diaries. These are early season time trial events that are great for checking your pre season form.

sat 13th march; 18k circuit tt at ranby (between worksop and retford) undulating course with a fast a1 finish. vets association event so prioity to vets, but open to all ages and not had full field last few years.

sat 20th march; fast 10mile at tuxford (not the thurs night course but almost same) 6 mile of a1 slight down hill then pancake flat.

both great courses and would be good to see plenty of blue, white and red there. so come on guys and girls get your entries in.

these are open events so closing dates are tues 2nd march for 18k and tues 9th for 10 mile.   Smiley

Think I can do both of these Dan.  You think the snow will be gone by then?! As you know the V718 10 (Hull to those who don't know about courses having numbers instead of names) was cancelled on Sunday.  The Sheffrec 2up is on the same day as Clumber Duathlon, so can't do that one either.  Although might pop over and watch, if i stagger round Clumber quick enough to get up there in time.

hi stuart, you need a rttc entry form, details of where to send it are in the handbook. Check their website for full details.

Dan... can't do 20th... off to Majorca.. tough eh? but what are the thursday night 10's? who organises them?

hi alison week day tt's are club organized events, the one most of us use is on tuesday at cuckney near worksop. Starting in april with 5 mile then on to 10 as the nights are lighter. See ady's post in the cycling section.

with reference to the thurs night tuxford events i believe they are north notts olympic. I would ring them first though to check its ok to ride. Events will prob start mid to late april.
