Training Sessions

Sheffield has some of the best training facilities in the country; Ponds Forge International Swimming Pool is just one example. On our doorstep we also have Rother Valley Country Park and the Peak District National Park. We make good use of these and other facilities to provide a selection of races and training events that challenge novices and experienced athletes alike.

  • Get Your Kit On – Castle Park Run
    Our next Get Your Kit On event will be at Castle Park Run on 11th March. For those of you who’ve not done a park run before – they’re brilliant! Free, timed 5km run events at 9am on Saturday mornings. Always fun and very friendly…..get your STC kit on and join us there!
  • Hathersage Hilly Entries Open!
    Entries are now open for this year’s race, which will be held on the 16th July. Full details and entry information can be found here. The event sells out faster each year, so get your entry in quick! We encourage newer members in the club to compete in the event as it’s great for novices....
